Indianola, Iowa — Loras withstood a furious Simpson second half comeback to defeat the Storm 62-59 in IIAC men's basketball action Feb. 12 in Indianola. The Duhawks led by as much as 12 in the first half, and took a 39-29 lead into halftime. The Storm came out of the break by mounting a 21-10 run that got Simpson to 49-48 with 9:19 to go. The Storm took their first lead since the 12:34 mark of the first half when Jason Soppe tipped in his own offensive rebound with 5:30 remaining to make it 52-51.
