Junior forward Scott Chamberlain had 12 second-half points to help MIC outscore Johnson State by 10 in the final 20 minutes resulting in the 87-77 victory that lifted the Mustangs record to 9-13 overall and 6-6 in the North Atlantic Conference. For the game, Chamberlain totaled 24 points and 11 rebounds, and teammate Pat Escabi, a freshman transfer, tied a season high with 25 points of his own to go along with 10 rebounds and a team-best seven assists. Frank Ponte, of the Badgers (4-18, 2-9) drained 20 points and pulled down nine boards while teammate Charlie Vianna sank four trifectas en route to his 18 points. Sean Sweeney dished out 14 assists.
