The Blazers won for the eighth time in their last 11 games to improve to 15-8 overall, 9-2 NAC. The Hawks, meanwhile, fell to 2-20 overall, 1-10 NAC.
Senior guard Kyle Seyboth (Seekonk, MA) connected for 12 points – all on 3-pointers, while freshman forward Nathan Hawes (New Hope, MN) and junior forward Anthony Bernard (Tamarac, FL) added 10 points apiece as the other Blazers to reach double figures in the victory.
The Blazers shot nearly 55-percent from 3-point range (6 of 11) in the opening half and limited the Hawks to just seven first-half field goals (7 of 30) to jump out to a commanding 50-26 lead at intermission.
Elms College returns concludes its regular season with a pair of NAC road games next weekend. The Blazers play at Husson on Friday, February 18 at 5:30 p.m. and Maine Maritime on Saturday, February 19 at 2:00 p.m.
