ALFRED, NY —

The Alfred University men’s basketball team had four players finish in double figures Saturday afternoon en route to a 77-57 win over visiting Elmira College. The win put the Saxons above .500 overall (12-11) and evened their conference record at 6-6.

Junior guard Chris Lemasters (Mansfield, PA/Mansfield) hit four of six shots from behind the arc to finish with a team-high 16 points. He also recorded two steals and dished out six assists.

Other Saxons scoring in double figures were junior guard Quentin Bryant (Buffalo, NY/Seneca Vocational), who had 15 points off the bench, and sophomore forward Ryan Clemenson (Ovid, NY/South Seneca), finishing with 12 points (5-6 field goals) and five rebounds.
