St. John Fisher 82, Elmira 52PITTSFORD, NY -- — The St. John Fisher College men's basketball improved to 22-0 overall and 11-0 in the Empire 8 Conference with an 82-52 win over visiting Elmira College on Friday night.
Fisher led by just five at 39-34, with just over 15 minutes left, but pulled away, thanks to a 20-2 run over the next six minutes. Jeff Sidney led Fisher with 15 points, while Mike McGee and Sean O'Brien each added 14 points. Fisher, the only undefeated team in NCAA Division III, can finish first in the Empire 8 Conference and host the Empire 8 Conference Championship with a win over Ithaca tomorrow OR an R.I.T. loss.
