The College of Staten Island (21-2, 11-1 CUNYAC) defeated New York City College of Technology, 91-52, Wednesday evening at CSI’s Sports and Recreation Center.
CSI scored the first basket of the game and never looked back as they held the lead for the entire contest. The Dolphins twice extended their lead to 29 points in the first half and CSI entered half-time with a secure 53-28 lead.

Senior Jacclyn Rock (New Dorp / Staten Island, NY) had her 16th double-double of the season recording 18 points and 15 rebounds while also adding 3 blocks. Kim Thompson (St. John Villa / Staten Island, NY) finished the night with 16 points while teammate Stephanie Iosue (St. Peter’s / Staten Island, NY) had 13 points and 6 assists. Current CUNY Rookie of the Week, Nicole Stefanski (St. Peter’s / Staten Island, NY) had another worthy performance with 8 points, 13 assists, and 8 rebounds.
The Yellow Jackets (12-9, 7-5 CUNYAC) were led by current CUNYAC Player of the Week Camille Manning (William C. Bryant / Queens, NY) with 20 points and 12 rebounds, while sophomore guard Nicola Clarke (John Adams / South Ozone Park, NY) added 12 points and freshman guard Amanda Zieminski (Curtis / Staten Island, NY) chipped in with 10 points and seven boards.
CSI returns to action on Saturday, February 12th at 2:00pm here at the Sports and Recreation Center. It is also Senior Day for this year's seniors Jacclyn Rock and Stephanie Iosue.
The Yellow Jackets will also close out the CUNYAC regular season this Friday night (February 11th, 5:00 pm) at Hunter College.
