DOVER, De. — Wesley College (6-14, 5-8) defeated conference opponent Arcadia University (3-18, 2-10) by a final score of 58-56 in men's basketball action on Monday night. Wesley was led by Nick Minor's (Gambrills, MD/Arundel) 14 points, 2 assists and 2 steals. Minor was also 6-of-11 from the field. Rufus Mincey (Morristown, NJ/Morristown) dropped in 13 points for Wesley. Robert Gordy (Temperanceville, VA/Arcadia) led the Wolverines on the boards with 10.

There were 15 lead changes and 9 ties throughout the ballgame, with Wesley holding its largest margin at 9 (34-25) with 19:20 remaining in the second half. Arcadia battled back to take the lead at 46-45 with 8:21 remaining on a Corey Rich (Norristown, PA/Kennedy-Kenrick) 3-point basket. Arcadia held its largest lead of 5 (56-51) with 3:30 remaining on a Rich free-throw, which proved to be the final points for the Knights. Tyrell Brown (Randallstown, MD/Randallstown) put Wesley up for good at 57-56 on a lay-up with :59 seconds remaining.

Wesley shot 23-of-55 (41.8%) for the game and committed only 11 turnovers in the contest. Arcadia out-rebounded the Wolverines 48-33 and shot 18-of-56 (32.1%) for the game, while committing 16 turnovers. Justin McCuen (Horsham, PA/Hatboro-Horsham) led Arcadia with 11 points.
