Colby-Sawyer 61, Gordon 49

WENHAM, Mass. — Colby-Sawyer remained undefeated in the Commonwealth Coast Conference at 11-0 with a 61-49 victory over the host Fighting Scots on Saturday afternoon.

The Chargers were paced by 16 points from junior James Thorpe off the bench. Thorpe, who usually does his damage from beyond the three-point arc, instead was key from the free throw line today, hitting six of nine attempts.

Junior center Andrew St. Clair chipped in with 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Chargers, who out-rebounded the Fighting Scots, 45-31.

Jon Marstaller led Gordon with 13 points, while Jerry Logan added 11.

Colby-Sawyer returns to action on Tuesday when they open their final regular-season home stand of the year against Curry with a 7:30 p.m. tip-off.
