Elmira 66, Hartwick 56

ELMIRA, N.Y. — Senior forward Albert Davis had 21 points and 18 rebounds to lead the Elmira College men's basketball team to a 66-56 conference victory over Hartwick College on Saturday.


Davis made 9-of-12 field goals and went 3-for-9 from the foul line for the Soaring Eagles (3-16, 3-6 Empire 8).

The Hawks (2-18, 0-9 Empire 8) and Elmira were tied, 50-50, at the end of regulation. The Soaring Eagles then outscored Hartwick, 16-6, in the overtime period.

Junior guard Tim Kindlon paced the Hawks with 20 points on 7-for-17 shooting. Freshman swingman Eddie McAdoo finished with 12 points and three assists, and freshman forward Josh Mackenzie contributed 11 points and four rebounds.
