The Mules improved to 11-6 overall and 2-4 in league play, while Connecticut College fell to 5-16 and 1-6 in the league.
Drew Cohen (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.) added 16 points and Patrick McGowan (North Attleboro, Mass.) had 15 for Colby, which shot 61 percent from the field in the first half and led 50-30 at the break.
Andrew Jenkins (Gorham, Maine) and Mike Rutherford (Wyckoff, N.J) both had nine points for the Mules. Nick Farrell (Aspen, Colo.) had eight of Colby’s 21 assists.
The Mules shot 53 percent from the field and only committed seven turnovers to the Camels’ 23. Colby also shot 10-for-20 from 3-point range.
Malik Brown (New York, N.Y.) had 14 points to pace Conn College. Charles Stone (Hackensack, N.J.) finished with nine points and Jeff Young (East Hartford, Conn.) had 11 rebounds and five points.
Colby plays host to Wesleyan University at 3 p.m. Saturday, while the Camels visit Bowdoin at the same time.
