Framingham State 68, Massachusetts College 61

Framingham, MA — The Framingham State College Rams picked up their fifth conference win of the year tonight at home defeating MCLA by a score of 68 – 61. The Rams improve to 10-7, 5-2 in the MASCAC, while MCLA falls to 6-11, 0-7.
Framingham State jumped out to an early 7 point lead with just over 13 minutes left in the first half but the Trailblazers were able to cut the lead to just two at half time behind 13 first half points for Robert Mitchell who finished the with a game high 24 points and 10 rebounds. In the second half the Rams took control of the game as they took advantage of their size. Senior Jared Clark had 16 second half points and 9 rebounds. Clark finished with 24 points for the game. Junior center Joe Faradie added 12 points in the paint and senior guard Chris Feeney added 14 points and 10 rebounds.
The Rams next game is at home on Thursday, February 3rd at 7:00 against Elms while the Trailblazers travel to Bard College on Thursday for a 7:00 game.
