NEW LONDON, N.H. — Andrew St. Clair scored six of his game-high 18 points during a decisive 10-2 run in the second half that gave the Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team a 73-53 win over the University of New England on Tuesday night in New London. The win, Colby-Sawyer's 10th in a row, kept Colby-Sawyer undefeated in Commonwealth Coast Conference play at 10-0.

St. Clair (Pittsfield, Maine) scored 12 of his 18 points in the second half, including a thunderous dunk at the end of the 10-2 run with 12 minutes to play that put the Chargers up by 17, 54-37, effectively sealing the win for Colby-Sawyer (15-3, 10-0 CCC). The junior center also added nine rebounds and two blocked shots in 27 minutes.

James Thorpe (Concord, N.H.) added 17 points and 12 rebounds off the bench for the Chargers, who also got 11 points from Josh Carter (Salem, N.H.).

The University of New England (6-12, 2-9 CCC) was led by 15 points by Matt McManus (Cumberland, R.I.), the last lay up of which made him the 26th player in UNE history to score 1,000 career points. Mark Regis (Monroe, N.H.) added 12 points for the Nor'Easters.

Colby-Sawyer returns to action on Thursday night when they head to Bates, the winner of a 68-61 decision in the second game of the season for the Chargers, one of just three losses for Colby-Sawer this season.
