The Lions jumped on Stevens early, running out to an 11-2 lead in the game's first four minutes. Albright continued its hot start, and a Greg Conroy triple pushed the lead to 16, 24-8, midway through the period. The Ducks found their offensive stroke as the half wore on, and whittled the Lion lead down to seven, 31-24, with four and a half minutes remaining in the half. Albright responded with a quick 9-0 run, with seven of the points coming from Walter, to lead 40-24 with just over two minutes on the clock. A bucket from Floyd Morris stopped the bleeding for Stevens, but Albright scored seven of the last nine points of the half to take a 47-28 lead at the half.
Albright's lead remained in double-digits through the first minutes of the second half, and a pair of free throws from Mike Boles gave the Lions their largest lead of the night, 63-40, with 14 minutes to play in the game. Stevens got as close as eight points on a couple of occasions midway through the half, the last time at 69-61 with just over seven minutes remaining. A 10-4 Albright run over the next four minutes, including three's from Taylor Steltz and Andy Winebrenner, put the Lions on top by 14, 79-64, and effectively put the game away.
Walter's 13 points came on a 6-10 shooting effort from the field. Steltz was next for the Lions with 12 points, followed by Boles and Matt Kieselowsky with 11 points each. Kieselowsky turned in one of his best performances of the season, as he added a game-high six assists and eight rebounds in the contest. Boles' 11 points marked his season high. Trevor Deeter pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds for Albright, who out-boarded Stevens 49-29. Tim Williams led the Ducks with 18 points and eight rebounds, followed by Isaac Moore with 17 points.
