The Saints, who started three freshman, were led by the two upperclassmen in the starting line-up. Senior R.K. Thurman (Portsmouth, OH/Portsmouth) had 10 points, six rebounds and two blocks, while junior Ed Thornton (Cleveland, OH/Villa Angela-St. Joseph) added 10 [oints and four rebounds.
Thomas More shot 41 percent from the field in the first half, but the Norse shot 48 percent - including an astounding 63 percent (10-of-16) from behind the arc.
Northern Kentucky put the game away as they started the second half on a 21-2 run that spread the lead to 42.
Thomas More (0-10) will resume action Thursday, December 29 when the play Ohio Wesleyan in the second game of the Otterbein "O" Club Tournament.
