Illinois Wesleyan 72, Hanover 61
BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — The Illinois Wesleyan men's basketball team is 8-0 for the first time since the national championship season of 1997 as it scored a 72-61 decision over No. 14-rated Hanover on Tues., Dec. 20 at the Shirk Center. Keelan Amelianovich scored 18 points to lead IWU while Zach Freeman scored 15 and grabbed five rebounds while rejecting five shots. Adam Dauksas handed out eight assists and made three steals. The Titans shot 60 percent from the field (27 of 45) and outrebounded the Panthers (6-3), 35-24.
