Furman's Eric Webb had a game-high 23 points
as the host Paladins defeated Sewanee, 99-69, in an NCAA men's basketball game at Timmons Arena.
Both teams are 4-4.
Sewanee, which trailed by only five at halftime, 42-37, was led by Joey Garcia with 20 points. Teammate Spencer Rowland had 13 points, while Ben Pursell had seven points and seven rebounds.
Webb was one of five Furman players in double fugure scoring; Moussa Diagne (16), Jadee Jones (15), Tony Carter (14) and Robby Bostain (10).
