Pitt-Greensburg took advantage of Westminster's pressing and trapping and found open players all night for high-percentage buckets. The Bobcats shot an outstanding 56% from the field for the game.
Senior Duke Cooper (Reston, VA/South Lakes/Robert Morris) paced the Bobcats with a game-high 23 points. He also contributed six rebounds, four steals, and three assists. Junior guard Chris Streett (Murrysville, PA/Franklin Regional) dropped in 20 points, while freshmen Matt Rowland (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) and Rashad Davison (Washington, PA/Washington) scored 15 and 11 points respectively.
Westminster shot just 36% from the field for the game and just 26% from behind the arc. The Titans were led by Mark DeMonaco, who netted 21 points. Craig Hannon and Steve Bielich each added 13 points.
Pitt-Greensburg is now off for Winter break and will not play again until January 4, when they travel for a non-conference showdown with Grove City College.
