Bethel 90, Martin Luther 62

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. — After a slow start, the Bethel men came out firing in the second half, outscoring Martin Luther by 26 enroute to a 90-62 victory at the Robertson Center. The Royals shot an amazing 58% from the field in the second half, led by Charles Meadowcroft, who had 18 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Andy Cook also had another great game coming off the bench to score 13 points and pull down eight boards, while Matt Fredrickson finished with 12 points in the win. Cory Laugan and Trent Perry also aided the winning cause by dishing off five assists a piece.

Martin Luther shot a solid 46% from the field throughout the game, but could never development any momentum in the losing effort. They were led by Drew Kock, Nathan Nass and Caleb Kurbis, who had 11, 11, and 10 points, respectively. Nass earned the double double with 11 boards whil Kock and Kurbis finished with four rebounds a piece. Jefferey Dolan also added 8 points and 5 assists.

Martin Luther moves to 1-7 on the year, while the Royals recorded their 4th victory of the season, and are now 4-3 overall. Bethel takes on Crown College on December 17 th at home. Tip off is at 3 p.m.
