RPI 69, Russell Sage 44TROY, N.Y. — Rensselaer held Russell Sage to just 27.1% shooting from the floor and 11 players had at least one point as the Red Hawks downed their city-rivals, 69-44. RPI improves to 3-2 with the victory while the Gators fall to 1-5.
Rensselaer was led offensively by forwards Kristi Baranowski, a junior who had 14 points and a game-high 10 rebounds (2 offensive) and Tory Lyons, a sophomore who also had 14 points. She also had five rebounds, including four offensive. Freshman Elizabeth Barker added seven rebounds (4 off.) in the win.
