The Eagles opened up a 52-33 halftime advantage, thanks to a blistering 17-34 shooting mark in the first half. UMW was 9-19 from three-point range in the first half, and was 9-12 from the free throw line. The Eagles led, 82-62, with 4:36 remaining, but Frostburg went on a huge run with the Eagle starters on the bench, and cut the deficit all the way to five at 88-82 with :16 remaining. But Mike Lee made four free throws to ice the game for the Eagles.
Baker scored a career high 31 points on 9-14 shooting from the floor and 13-16 from the line. Freshman forward Kiernan Whitworth and freshman guard Matt Treacy each scored twelve for the Eagles, while Lee scored 15 and A.J. Fitzgerald added eleven.
The Eagles will be back in action on Wednesday night when they host Lancaster Bible College at 7 pm.
