Lebanon Valley (3-5), which snapped a four-game losing streak, shot a blistering 65.7% in the second half and finished with a 56.1% mark for the game.
Junior guard Hunter Bretschneider led the Dutchmen with a game-high 16 points while senior forward Dan Hogan posted 10 points and 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season.
Sophomore guard Dominque Brown paced Delaware Valley (0-6) with 12 points while freshman guard Ryan Thomas had 10 points.
The Dutchmen held the Aggies to 25.4% shooting. Both teams struggled to find their long-range touch, as Del Val shot 18.8% (6-for-32) from three-point territory and LVC connected on 16.7% (2-for-12) of its shots from behind the arc.
The 29-point win marked the Dutchmen’s largest margin of victory since their 114-79 win over the Aggies on Jan. 8, 2004.
Lebanon Valley held a 25-18 lead at halftime before racing out to a 9-2 run to start the second stanza, building a 35-20 advantage with 15:52 on the clock. The Dutchmen’s lead was 13 with 10:48 left before a 16-1 run over the next four minutes broke the game open, as LVC’s gap swelled to 27 (60-33) with 6:20 remaining.
The Dutchmen trailed just once on the evening, as freshman forward Ryan Walsh drilled a three-pointer 18 seconds into the game, making it 3-0. But Bretschneider answered with a trey of his own on LVC's ensuing trip down the court.
After Delaware Valley tied it (10-10) with 11:52 left in the first half following a three-pointer from junior guard Pat Lenahan, LVC took the lead for good after a lay-up by sophomore forward Peter Ruth 25 seconds later.
The Aggies trailed by only two (17-15) with 7:55 left in the half before a 7-0 LVC run gave the Valley some breathing room before the break.
Junior guard Jimmy Curran and junior forward Brian Wolensky finished with eight points apiece for the Dutchmen while sophomore center Luke Foster, making his first collegiate start, recorded six points, six rebounds, and four blocked shots. It was Foster’s second-straight four-block game.
