Baruch 85, John Jay 58

New York, NY — Freshman forward George Kunkel (Glendale, NY/Archbishop Molloy) poured in 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds to help lead the Bearcats to an 85-58 conference win Tuesday night at John Jay College.

Four total players reached double-digits, as every player on the roster saw action this evening.

Louie Karis (Brooklyn, NY/Xaverian) and Anwar Baptiste (Bronx, NY/St. Raymond's) scored 15 points each, while Cheick Fadika (Abidjan, Ivory Coast/Petit) added 11 points, six rebounds, and three steals.

The game was tightly contested in the first half with the Bearcats (7-1, 2-0 CUUNYAC) leading at the half, 36-32, but they exploded to outscore the Bloodhounds in the second half, 49-26, to go on to the 85-58 rout.

Victor Raspaldo (Bronx, NY/JFK) led the Bloodhounds with 20 points.

The men's team will return to action this Thursday with a home conference game against CCNY (4-1). Tip off in the ARC Arena is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
