Colby-Sawyer 88, University of New England 66

NEW LONDON, N.H. — Colby-Sawyer used a 25-6 run to open the second half, breaking open a three-point halftime lead, as the Chargers defeated the University of New England in a Commonwealth Coast Conference men's basketball game on Tuesday night.

Leading 36-33 at the half, the Chargers (4-2, 2-0 CCC), went on their run over the first seven minutes of the second half, stretching the lead to 60-39. Andrew St. Clair scored nine of his career-high 34 points during the run, while Pat Kenny added a pair of three-pointers.

St. Clair added in 14 rebounds. Pat Kenny, Collin Bray and Duncan Szeliga each added 10 points apiece for the Chargers.

Matt McManus scored 16 points to lead the Nor'easters (1-4, 0-2 CCC), while Isaac Stickney scored 12 and Nick Farynaz had 11.

Colby-Sawyer closes out the fall semester on Tuesday, December 13, when the Chargers host Brandeis at 7 p.m.
