Bush, who had 15 points in Babson's 53-51 first day win over University of Maine at Farmington, hit a 3-point shot with 2:51 left to give the Beavers a 55-51 lead. The Mules were unable to get closer than three points the rest of the way.
David Votta (Roswell, Ga.), an all-tournament team selection, added eight points, six rebounds and four assists. Brian Parsons (Queensbury, N.H.), who also was on the all-tournament team, added nine points after scoring 20 in the win Saturday against Maine-Farmington. Zach Etten (Hollis, N.H.) had eight points and seven rebounds for Babson.
Drew Cohen (Briarclilff Manor, N.Y.) and Nick Farrell (Aspen, Colo.) made the all-tournament team for Colby (3-3). Cohen had 18 points, eight rebounds and six blocked shots. Meanwhile, Farrell had 13 points, seven steals and three assists. Nate Dick (North Attleboro, Mass.) had eight points and Mackenzie Simpson (Casco, Maine) had seven points.
Babson shot 50 percent from the field for the game and held the Mules to 35 percent shooting.
