Pitt-Greensburg 74, Pitt-Bradford 73

Greensburg, PA — The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg Men's Basketball team won their second straight contest by defeating Pitt-Bradford 74-73 in overtime. Pitt-Bradford had a chance to win the game in overtime, but Shawn Spindler's jump shot fell just short as time expired. With the win, the Bobcats evened their record at 3-3 overall and improved to 2-0 in the AMCC.

Sophomore forward Daniel Waajid came off the bench to lead the Bobcats with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Bill Scavincky netted 16 points, and Chris Streett pumped in 13 to lead a balanced Bobcat attack. Duke Cooper dished out a game-high eight assists for Pitt-Greensburg.

AMCC leading scorer Ryan Race pumped in a game-high 32 points for the Panthers, while Dan Thomas added 18 points. Mark Austin pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds in the loss.

Pitt-Greensburg will be back in action on Wednesday, when they travel to West Virginia to take on Bethany College. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
