The Brooklyn College men's basketball team got their fourth consecutive win as they defeated SUNY Purchase, 75-66, in a highly contested road game. Leading the scoring for Brooklyn were seniors Jeffrey Jean-Baptiste and Tes Choudri, who each dropped 20 points. Choudri, who is off to a stellar beginning to the 2005-2006 season, was strong on the boards as well, pulling down 11 on the night. Starters Damek Mair and Miguel Lopez also factored in the scoring, dropping 12 a piece. Warren Walters led the way for Purchase, scoring 22 points. The win marks the second consecutive season that the team has gotten off to a 4-0 start. Looking to keep the streak alive, the team will travel to Colby College in Maine for a two-day tournament this weekend, before they return home for their first conference game on December 6th when they play defending CUNYAC Champion, New York City College of Technology.
