Nichols is now 2-1 and will travel to Colby-Sawyer on Saturday, while Worcester State drops to 2-3 and will play next on Saturday, Dec. 10th at Amherst.
Nichols freshman Jerome Edgerton (Pittsfield, MA) came off the bench and had seven points, seven rebounds and two big free throws in the final seconds to seal the win. Senior Casey Butler (East Longmeadow) finished with 14 points and seven rebounds, while sophomore Chris Vallee (Ashburnham, MA) had 10 points and seven assists.
