MacMurray 121, Robert Morris-Springfield 110JACKSONVILLE, Il. — The MacMurray Highlanders men's basketball team improved to 2-3 on the season with a 121-110 win over Robert Morris of Springfield. Dirk Williams, from Robert Morris was a handful with his 33 points and Matt Wiseman added 26 in a losing cause. The eagles also hadTravaras Reed (19) and Tyler Morretto (15) in double figures. Williams also hauled down 20 rebounds, dished out 4 assists and had 1 steal as he played a very nice game. Robert Morris outshot the host school in field goal percentage, 3-point percentage and from the free throw line but it wasn't enough. MacMurray put up 99 shots in the game to 82 by RMC and forced 17 turnovers while only committing 9 themselves. The Highlanders had 6 players in double figures as they had 16 out of 19 players score in the game. They were led by Robinson with 22, Kowa 21, McIntosh 13, Whalum 12, Compton and Eberhart each scored 10. The Highlanders also had 27 assists to their 9 tournovers and that is a winning ratio. Next up for MacMurray will be Millikin on Wednesday in a home game.
