Washington U. limited Wisconsin Lutheran to 18.2 percent shooting from the field in the first frame, while the Bears connected on 62.9 percent of their field-goal attempts. Senior Rob Keller paced WU with 11 points in the first half on 5-of-8 shooting.
Senior Anthony Hollins added 13 points for the Bears on 6-of-6 shooting from the field. Hollins garnered All-Tournament Team accolades for efforts.
Junior Scott Stone dished out 10 assists, while classmate Brandon York scored a team-high 15 points. Freshman Troy Ruths notched career-high 14 points and seven rebounds.
Washington University (3-2) returns to action Friday, Dec. 3 against Benedictine University (Ill.) in the Bill Merris Classic at Illinois College. Tip off is set for 6 p.m. in Jacksonville, Ill.
