The Bulldogs fell behind 12-0 early in the game and did not score its first point until 4 ½ minutes had gone by in the game but rebounded to tie the score at 12 and cruised the rest of the way to record a win over local rival Moravian. DeSales shot 47.6 percent from the field and committed just 10 turnovers, while the Greyhounds were held to 34.9 percent shooting and committed 25 turnovers.
Senior Michael Venafra scored a game-high 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting and fellow senior David Spadt added 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds for the Bulldogs. Freshman Phil Stricker scored 10 points off the bench to record the first double figure game of his career.
