Josh Kendrick contributed 11 points and 13 rebounds for the Cougars.
King's was led by Brian Horgan with 29 points and eight rebounds.
Marty O'Hara and Jamie Cousart had 14 and 12 points, respectively for the Monarchs.
The Cougars were down at the half, 36-28, but battled back in the second half to capture the lead, 69-67 with 3:05 to play.
King's ended the game on an 11-0 run to seal the win.
King's is 3-0 while CM, 1-2, will travel to Marywood Dec. 1 at 8:00.
