Ryan Price and Bryce May each tossed in 16 points to pace the Cowboys
who led the entire way. McNeese held a 42-34 lead at the half and went
up by as many as 20 points in the second half.
Also scoring in double figures for the Cowboys were Edward Garriet with
12 and J. T. Williams with 10.
Louisiana College's Casey Meador was the game's top point maker as he
pitched in 27 points. Chris Campbell and Cody Ladner had 11 each for the
Wildcats.
McNeese shot 46 percent from the floor, 35 from three point range and 72
from the free throw line. The Wildcats made 48 percent from the floor,
40 percent from three point range and 91.3 percent from the free throw
line, canning 21 of 23.
The Cowboys held a 35-21 rebounding edge with Aldrynn Wardell setting
the pace with seven caroms.
Both teams are now 1-1 on the season. McNeese returns to action Saturday
on the road against Southern Mississippi.
