Marywood 84, Baptist Bible 79

DALLAS, PA — The Marywood University Pacers defeated the Baptist Bible Defenders, 84-79, to claim their first ever Laurel Line Tournament Championship, Saturday night in men's basketball action at College Misericordia.

Tournament MVP Tim Smallwood led the Pacers with 28 points and three rebounds while Ryan Rogan added 21 points and two rebounds. Marywood accomplished another first by defeating Baptist Bible, as the Pacers improved to 2-0 for the first time in school history.

Jon Konzelman and Derek Jacobs, each contributing 19 points, led the Defenders while David Stallard chipped in 14 points.

Konzelman and Nate Francis made the All-Tourney Team for Baptist Bible while Rogan was given the nod for Marywood.

The All Tournament Team included College Misericordia's Andrew Little with 15 ppg, four assists and four steals as well as Braircliffe College's Joe Wilkinson who averaged 21 ppg.
