Keystone 70, Elms 38

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Elms College junior forward Danielle Dugre (Holyoke, MA) recorded a team-high eight points and nine rebounds, but Keystone College used a big first half run to pull away to a 70-38 win over the Blazers in Saturday afternoon’s consolation game of the Vassar College Invitational at the New Athletic Center.

With the loss, the Blazers fell to 0-2 overall, while Keystone College evened its record to 1-1 overall.

The Giants scored 22 of the first 24 points and built a 42-12 lead at intermission. Senior forward Lynn Archer (Factoryville, PA) tallied eight first half points and recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds for Keystone College.

Freshman guard Raemarie Josefiak (Springfield, MA) added seven points for the Blazers in the loss.

The Blazers return to non-conference play at Smith College on Tuesday, November 23. Game time is 6:00 p.m.
