Benedictine 94, Illinois Tech 73CHICAGO, Ill. — Marcus Jackson netted a team-high 20 points in his Benedictine debut, leading four players in double figures as the Eagles posted a season-opening 94-73 win at Illinois Institute of Technology.
Jackson's effort was a part of a red-hot shooting night for Benedictine (1-0), which converted 56% of its shots from the floor. Illinois Tech (0-6) was led by 16 points - all from the foul line - from Hakan Ozmen.
