AC trailed 13-0 right out of the blocks, but slowly recovered in the end of the first half to pull within nine, trailing 41-32. AC shot a decent 43 percent clip in the half, but the Bison's were smoking, shooting 54 percent, including 40 percent from downtown.

AC then played outstanding defense and Brian Schaefer came up with a huge steal with :4 to go and was fouled sending the All-American hopeful to line. Schaefer sank both tries and AC got a steal from Jeff Nokovich to end the game.
For the game, AC was led by Schaefer with 30 points on 10-of-21 shooting, including 4-of-8 from three point range. Collins Jr. added 14 points, while Mike Lewis, fresh off a football season, tossed in nine points and grabbed a team leading five rebounds. Anthony Thornton added seven points off the bench for AC.
