Kane hit 5 of 7 shots from the field to score 11 points in the opening 20 minutes of play as the Lady Royals bolted out to an early 11-point advantage before the Devils fought back to cut the lead to 36-30 at intermission.
The Devils stayed in contention early in the second half and trailed by only five, 49-44, with 13:09 remaining before Gemmel sparked a 17-3 run by scoring nine points during a five-minute span as Scranton extended the lead to 66-47. The final score was the largest margin of the game.
