Simpson 88, Upper Iowa 64Fayette, Iowa — Simpson defeated NCAA Division II Upper Iowa 88-64 Friday night in Fayette. The Storm were led by Matt Brown who broke out of a season long scoring funk to post 26 points. Brown was 9-1 from the floor. Brown had two assists and two steals.
Freshman Ryan Hittenmiller charted a career high 20 on 7-10 shooting. Jason Snyder was 4-6 from the field to post 11 points. Mike Jackson led the Peacocks with 17 points.
