BROCKPORT MEN'S BASKETBALL WINS AT HOME
Golden Eagles defeat Bengals, 94-71
BROCKPORT, NY--Senior Brandon Mills (Rochester/Spencerport) scored a team-high 19 points to lead SUNY Brockport to a 94-71 win over Buffalo State Tuesday evening.
The Golden Eagles improve their record to 9-6, while the Bengals fall to 9-6.
Other high scorers for Brockport were Charlie Croff (Lockport, NY/Lockport) with 17 points and Randy Bills (Fairport, NY/Fairport) netting 15 points in the win. Brian Carroll (Walworth/Gananda Central) dished out a career high seven assists, while Bryan Boswell (Amherst/Sweet Home) also had seven assists.
Joshua Becker (Hamburg) scored a team high 18 points and had four rebounds on the night. Jeremy Konst (Williamsville) had 12 points and five assists for the Bengels.
The Golden Eagles shot a season-best 62% for the night, while the Bengals shot 44% from the floor. Brockport led by six at the half (37-31) and out rebounded Buffalo 32-26. Brockport shot 71% in the second half, making 20 of 28 shots to lead the 57 point second half output.
SUNY Brockport is away on Friday at Cortland for a 8 p.m. contest. The Golden Eagles return home on Saturday when they host New Paltz at 8 p.m.
