BANGOR, Me. — Elms College sophomore forward Lonnie Branyon III (West Haven, CT) and junior guard Kyle Seyboth (Seekonk, MA) tallied 12 points apiece, but Husson College had three players reach double figures and also rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to earn a 63-61 victory over the Blazers in Sunday afternoon’s North Atlantic Conference (NAC) men’s basketball game at Bangor.
Freshman guard John Ancrum (Harlem, NY) netted 11 points and added a collegiate career-high 11 assists for the Blazers, who led 34-24 at intermission.
With the loss, the Blazers fell to 4-10 overall, 4-4 NAC. Husson, meanwhile, improved to 11-6 overall, 9-2 NAC.
Elms College returns to NAC play on Wednesday, January 28 at Mount Ida College. Game time is 5:00 p.m.
