Alvernia College (13-3, 8-0) defeated Wesley College (3-10, 2-5) in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference play on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 75-63. The Crusaders received a dominating performance by senior forward Ray Strickland who had a game-high 35 points, with 27 coming in the first half. Strickland was 11-of-15 from the field and 8-of-8 from 3-point range, while adding 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Zach Straining added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort.
Wesley was led by Pat Woods with 17 points. Alvernia shot 23-of-54 (42.6%) from the field and committed only 12 turnovers.
