Turner connected on 7-of-10 shots from the field as the Lutes improved to 5-0 in the conference, 11-2 overall. Lewis & Clark is now 1-4 in NWC games, 4-10 overall.
The Lutes led by as many as 12 points in the first half. Lewis & Clark went on a 13-2 run to take the lead with just over six minutes left in the first half, but PLU regrouped and held a three-point advantage at halftime.
Lewis & Clark went on another run in the second half, drawing to within one point at 54-53 with 4:36 left. Kustura scored eight straight points on three field goals include two three-pointers as the Lutes kept the lead and went on to win the game.
Courtney Johnson led PLU on the boards with 9 rebounds.
Sarah Moon led Lewis & Clark with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Lindsay Sweetland and Krystle Mortimer both scored 11 points and Sweetland also grabbed 7 rebounds. Talia Hristou led the team with 8 boards, all on the defensive end.
