LeTourneau played well in the first half building a 30-26 lead and built an early six point lead in the second half. But the Choctaws went on a 19-4 run to take a a 47-38 lead that they would not relinquish.
Leading the way for the Choctaws was B.J. Black with 23 points and five rebounds. Black made 11-15 shot attempts. James Dixon was the only other double figure scorer with 12 points and five rebounds.
LeTourneau placed three players in double figures with Julius McClaskey and Randy Aram each scoring 11 points. Richie Eisemann chipped in ten points for the Yellow Jackets.
Neither team shot well with MC finishing the night making 48 percent of shot attempts and LeTourneau knocking down 34 percent. But MC shot 60 percent in the second half to pull away for the win.
The Choctaws outrebounded LeTourneau 38-34 and committed just 13 turnovers. LeTourneau finished with 20 turnovers.
