MARIETTA, Ohio — The Marietta College men's basketball team hosted Muskingum this evening in the first of the two Coaches vs. Cancer games of the 2004 campaign. Muskingum used a 7-to-2 run in the final three minutes to pull out the 69-64 victory on the road.

The Pioneers battled back to even the score at 62-62 with just under three minutes to play before Pittis' lay-up put the Muskies up by two. As a result, Muskingum was able to hold on to the 69-64 win.
