The Eagles led by just one at the half, 47-46, and the game remained close for the first 11 minutes of the second half.
Emory & Henry trailed by just four, 70-66, when Justin Call knocked down a jumper with 9:16 left in the game, but the Eagles scored the next seven points to open a double-digit lead. Ricky Easterling hit two free throws and Andrew Lacey scored from the baseline to push the lead to eight. Easterling then converted a three-pont play and the Eagles led by 11, 77-66, with 5:25 remaining.
The Wasps would get no closer than seven the rest of the way as the Eagles finished off the 86-74 victory.
Easterling led the Eagles with 19 points and Jeff Schwalm had his second straight strong performance with 18 points and nine rebounds. Clay Michael came off the bench and finished with 11 points and seven boards.
Ben Fisher led the Wasps with 26 points. Call added 23 and Will Schwartzstein scored 10.
The Eagles, ranked third in the nation in shooting percentage, made 32-of-57 shots from the floor. BC also connected on 17of-20 from the foul line.
The Eagles improved to 9-4 overall and 4-3 in the ODAC while the Wasps fell to 7-6 overall and 3-4 in the conference.
