Kings Point 87, Farmingdale State 70

Farmingdale, NY — The Rams (3-6, 1-2 Skyline) dropped a conference game today as they faced King's Point (7-4, 3-1 Skyline) 87-70, giving the Mariners their 38th straight conference home game victory. The Rams were down at halftime 42-31 and had cut their deficit to seven with 16 minutes left. King's Point went on a 15-0 run, sinking five 3-pointers to put the game away.

The Mariners had four players in double figures, led by senior Mark Medvetz (Medford, NJ/Shawnee) with 19 points and 4 assists. Other players for Kings Point in double-figures were Josh Buck (Warsaw, IN/Warsaw) with 17 points, Brian Kelly (Belle Harbor, NY/Abp. Molloy) with 15 and Joe Hart (Frackville, Pa./N. Schuylkill) with 10 points.

Farmingdale Sophomore Kenny McMillian (Bronx, NY/All Hallows) came off the bench and scored a game-high 26 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and had a game-high 5 steals. McMillian is second on the team in scoring this season, averaging 14.9 points per game. Sophomore Kenny Cooper (Brooklyn, NY/Canarsie) netted 12 points and 3 assists for the Rams.
