Old Westbury, NY — A thrilling win in the Skyline Conference final and Old Westbury mens basketball earns its first ever trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The top seeded Panthers beat second seed Mt St Mary 68-66 on a FG by junior G Michael Garrett with less than four seconds remaining. A three point FG by junior F Dervent Williams tied the game at 66 and set up the winning shot. The game featured six lead changes in the second half.
