SUNY-Old Westbury 73, Farmingdale State 66
Old Westbury, NY — The Panthers prevailed against Farmingdale State tonight, gaining a hard fought 73-66 victory at the Clark Athletic Center. After eight lead changes in the second half alone, Old Westbury (18-8) went ahead to stay on a three point FG by junior F Dervent Williams with slightly less than four minutes remaining. Williams would finish with 12 points. Critical free throws made down the stretch by junior F Chris Roberts helped secure the victory. Roberts would score 12 points in the game, ten from the FT line. Junior G Michael Garrett would lead the Panthers with 18 points, seven assists.
