The Mules, however, used a 16-5 run to open the second half and knotted the score at 49-49 on a jumper by Ryan Bonda (10 points) with 14:29 left in the game.
The Bears answered with a 7-0 spurt on a layup from Stanton, a jumper and a free throw from Furey and a two freebies by McGarvey.
After Donte Borden drilled a three-pointer for the Mules, McEvily scored five straight points to put Ursinus back up 61-52 with 11:07 left in the game.
Muhlenberg closed the gap to seven points on two occasions but each time the Bears answered and cruised to the win.
Ursinus is the No. 2 seed in this weekend's Centennial Conference Playoffs hosted by Franklin & Marshall. The Bears will take on Johns Hopkins Saturday at 1:30 at the Mayser Center.
