Whitewater is ranked 20th in the most recent D3hoops.com poll and ends its season 20-6 overall, 11-6 in the WIAC, UW-Oshkosh improves to 14-12 (8-9 WIAC) ...The Warhawks were within one point at half time, despite shooting just 27 percent in the opening period... UW-Whitewater opened up the second half with a 7-1 run to take a 31-26 lead with 17:00 remaining, the two teams would exchange leads several times throughout the second half. The Warhawks grabbed a 6-point lead with 5:21 remaining (47-41), but the Titans were able to close out the game on a 11-2 run to win the game 52-49 as a desperation 3-pointer by UW-Whitewater’s Matt Jones bounced off the back of the rim as time expired...This marks the third consecutive season that the Titans have eliminated the Warhawks from the WIAC postseason tournament...UW-Oshkosh will face #2 UW-Stevens Point on Saturday at UW-Stevens Point

UW-Whitewater's Next Game: This marks the end of the 2003-04 season for the Warhawks.
